Every day our youth face challenges such as hunger, peer pressure, criminal activity, gang violence, verbal and substance abuse, neglect and lack of educational support.

Sarah Graham, Founder &  CEO of Drawers of Hope grew up in a single parent home, lived in public housing and had the experience of having to go to an alternative school to learn to manage her anger positively. Sarah has a heart to help children in need.  She has been where they are and wants to show them there is a better way to coping with life’s problems by using Christian principles and alternative skills & techniques. Sarah's desire to decrease the crime rate in our community and passion for the children inspired Sarah to create Drawers of Hope.

 

Drawers of Hope Resource Center focuses on ages 9 thru 12 years old. We will assist other youth ages groups as the need arises. We have a food pantry, programs to help our youth overcome peer pressure, verbal and substance abuse, goal setting for their future, tutoring, mentoring and more. We have monthly programs where youth can have fun in a safe, supportive, caring and empowering environment. Our youth get to have fun while learning how to believe and achieve their dreams. Our youth help give back and take care of our community with different programs we partner with in the community. Our resources and program are used to assist in rebuilding and restoring the lives of families in need. We welcome you into our family!
