Grocery Prices Increasing

More than 42 million Americans are food insecure, meaning they don’t have access to an adequate supply of nutritious, affordable food. In North Carolina, 1,503,050 people are food insecure. Food insecure meaning they are lacking reliable access to a sufficient quantity of affordable, nutritious food. Most families that are food insecure parents work two or even three jobs. Today with grocery prices, rent increasing and gas prices fluctuating many families are struggling with food insecurity. Drawers of Hope Resource Center Food Pantry is here to help. Greensboro-High Point metropolitan area have the highest levels of food hardship in the country. We are fighting hunger and food insecurity in the Triad.
